Cubs Sign First-Rounder Schwarber

The Chicago Cubs have agreed to a contract with first-round pick Kyle Schwarber and officially announced his signing.
Schwarber will receive below the suggested slot value for the fourth overall pick.
The left-handed hitter out of Indiana University will reportedly receive a $3,125,000 bonus, which is significantly lower than the $4,621,000 allotment for the pick.
