The New York Mets are willing to trade Bartolo Colon before the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline.
In order to sweeten a potential deal, the Mets are willing to pay $2 million of what remains on Colon's contract, according to sources. Under his two-year, $20 million deal, Colon will make $11 million in 2015.
