The Cleveland Indians are "very willing" to trade Justin Masterson, who won't be activated from the disabled list until Friday, according to sources.
Cleveland would like to acquire a controllable pitcher in return for the right-hander.
Masterson has struggled for much of the 2014 season after making the American League All-Star team last July.
The 29-year-old will become a free agent after the season.
