Orioles, Hardy Agree To $40M Extension

The Baltimore Orioles will sign J.J. Hardy to a three-year deal worth $40 million with a fourth-year option, according to multiple reports.
Hardy, 32, was scheduled to hit the free agent market this winter.
The shortstop hit .268/.309/.372 in 569 plate appearances this season.
