The plan is for the Giants to carry their 25-man roster from the NLCS into the World Series, manager Bruce Bochy said during a workout at AT&T Park on Saturday afternoon.
That means Tim Lincecum, whose absence from game action thus far in the postseason has been a popular topic during media sessions, will remain on the roster.
"I think about Timmy; trust me," Bochy said. "I'm pretty sure at some point, he'll be in the game."
