The Detroit Tigers are expected to pick up Joakim Soria's $7 million club option for next season.
However, they will have to figure out what role he should have out of the bullpen.
"We still have to make the final decision," Dave Dombrowski said last week of Soria's option. "But it's a situation where we look at him as being an important acquisition toward this [coming] year also."
Detroit will have until three days after the conclusion of the World Series to make a decison.
