The Minnesota Twins have announced that they will hire Paul Molitor as the 13th manager in franchise history.
Molitor, 58, will be introduced at a news conference on Tuesday.
He is a Hall of Fame infielder and a native of Minnesota. He receives a three-year deal.
Molitor spent 2014 as a coach on Ron Gardenhire's staff. Prior to that, he served for 10 seasons as a minor league instructor in the organization.
