The Cleveland Indians have agreed to a two-year contract extension with Terry Francona that will keep the manager with the club through 2018.
The new deal includes club options for 2019 and 2020.
Francona, 55, has led the Indians to consecutive winning seasons and a postseason appearance in 2013.
