Dodgers Aggressively Shopping Outfielders

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Nov 10, 2014 1:14 pm

The Los Angeles Dodgers are aggressively shopping Matt Kemp, Carl Crawford and Andre Ethier, according to a report.

The club has a lot of depth with Yasiel Puig, Scott Van Sylke and Joc Pederson in the mix for Major League at-bats.

Los Angeles is willing to include money to offset the cost of acquiring Kemp, Crawford or Ethier.

Of course they want to cut loose their overpaid, over-the-hill outfield.

Only player worth consideration is Kemp. Ethier hasnt been a star in 5 years, but gets paid a ridiculous amount (18mil per season) Crawford has been a shadow of himself since leaving Tampa ad makes 60mil in the next 3 seasons, his mid 30's.

Kemp on the other hand 30 next season, bounced back bigtime and of the 3, is the only bonafied superstar at this point in their careers.

If the dodgers are willing to eat 5+ mil a season, teams will come calling, most likely AL teams that can spot him in the OF and take long consideration at the DH position.
