Haren 'Holding Out Hope' For Trade To Southern California

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Dec 23, 2014 12:44 pm

Dan Haren, who was traded to the Miami Marlins along with Dee Gordon, has a decision to make regarding his future.

The veteran right-hander has said he'd rather retire than pitch from a club far away from his family in Southern California.

Haren is "holding out hope" that the Marlins will trade him to either the Los Angeles Angels or San Diego Padres.

He signed with Washington and a non-stop from DC to LAX is 5 hrs 20 minutes, and a non-stop from Miami to LAX is 5 hrs 15 minutes.
Just say you don't want to play for a bad team.

He made the decision to only play in SoCal after playing for the Nationals, he mentioned multiple times how tough it was living without his family, try to be informed before talking out of your ass...

Its quite simple....MOVE ur FAMILY with you. You make millions in baseball so why put that on hold. Half the time ur never at home anyways with traveling to other cities, states. Seems like a no brainer to me.
