According to multiple sources, the Chicago Cubs were among the first teams to express interest in acquiring David Price from the Detroit Tigers.
While the Cubs have expressed preliminary interest in the left-hander, eight or more teams are likely to consider dealing for Price over the next week if the Tigers do place him on the block.
