Price Primed For $200 Million Contract, Blue Jays Won't Be In Play

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Nov 9, 2015 1:07 pm

David Price is expected to receive a contract of around seven years and north of $200 million this offseason as perhaps the most coveted free agent on the market.

The Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox have already been linked to the left-hander.

Jon Heyman of CBS Sports writes that the Toronto Blue Jays won't be in play to re-sign him, no matter what other reports indicate.

"Thanks for storming the gates in August, idiots. Do you think my statue should go behind, in front of, or next to my father's?"
