The New York Mets have agreed to re-sign Yoenis Cespedes on a three-year, $75 million deal.

The deal includes an opt-out after the first season.

Cespedes set career highs in a number of power categories including home runs (35), RBI (105) and OPS (.870).

The Nationals reportedly made a five-year offer to Cespedes.
