The Washington Nationals have agreed to sign Brendan Ryan to a Minor League pact.
Ryan has also received an invitation to Spring Training.
He exercised a $1 million option with the New York Yankees, but was traded to the Chicago Cubs in the Starlin Castro deal. Chicago released Ryan shortly after.
