The Texas Rangers are "surveying the market for a possible catching addition," according to a report, which cites three sources.
The Rangers have been linked to Jonathan Lucroy this offseason, but Derek Norris of the San Diego Padres is a much more likely target at this point.
Norris, 27, is owed $2.9 million this season and is under team control through 2018.
