The Diamondbacks placed right-hander Zack Greinke on the 15-day disabled list Sunday with a left oblique strain.
Greinke departed his last start after two innings because of tightness in his left oblique suffered while batting. Manager Chip Hale said an MRI performed Sunday showed the strain.
Hale is hopeful that Greinke will be able to return after the All-Star break, but there is no timetable for his return.
