Clayton Kershaw will face live hitters on Tuesday in a simulated game.
Kershaw tossed a 60-pitch bullpen session on Friday at Dodger Stadium and will throw the simulated game either in Los Angeles or at the team's complex in Arizona. He will face Minor League hitters.
"Yeah I'm excited," Kershaw said. "The next step is to face hitters so I'm excited to do that for sure."
The Los Angeles Dodgers have yet to release a timetable for when Kershaw might return to the Major Leagues.
