The Boston Red Sox will sign Carlos Quentin to a Minor League deal, but he will begin the season in Triple-A without an invite to Major League camp.
The Red Sox don't have a lot of depth in the outfield in the minors.
Quentin last play in the Major Leagues in 2014.
