Brett Lawrie has no plans to sign with a Major League team in the near future as he focuses on rehabilitation from a soft tissue injury in his lower body.
Lawrie was recently released by the Chicago White Sox.
His agent, Joe Urbon of CAA, says the injury arose as "a result of the orthotics [Lawrie] was given last year."
