Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed May 17, 2017 11:03 am

Byron Buxton hit a home run in the fourth inning on Tuesday night to help the Minnesota Twins tie a 38-year-old franchise record with a homer in 16 straight games.

The previous club mark was set in 1979.

The Major League record is held by the 2002 Texas Rangers, who had a 27-game streak.

Minnesota has seen 12 different players homer during the streak.
