Marco Estrada has been claimed on revocable trade waivers, but the Toronto Blue Jays don't plan to move him.
It remains unknown who claimed Estrada, although reports have indicated that it may be an American League East rival.
"Yeah, but nothing is going to happen," John Gibbons said. "We need him. Most guys go through that; most of them probably get claimed anyway. Nothing's going to happen."
Estrada has a 5.09 ERA, 4.54 FIP and 143 strikeouts in 139.2 innings this season.
