Retired Police Officer Catches Justin Turner's Walkoff Homer

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Oct 16, 2017 3:40 pm

Keith Hupp, a 54-year-old retired police officer, caught Justin Turner's walkoff home run in Game 2. Hupp leaned over the side of the covered seats in the left field pavilion to catch the ball.

Turner's home run came just 40 minutes short of being the exact minute 29 years to the day of Kirk Gibson's walkoff homer in Game 1 of the 1988 World Series against Dennis Eckersley.

Hupp has caught 10 homers this season and 18 over the past two.

Hupp has been a season ticket holder for more than 20 years and has been in the left field pavilion for the past 10 seasons.

why would someone track down the guy? it's not like the ball has any real historical significance

and surely he hasn't CAUGHT 10 homers this season
the donald, always unpopular, did worse in EVERY state in 2020. and by a greater margin in red states! 50 independently-run elections, none of them rigged
