Ichiro Suzuki may be returning to Japan sooner rather than later.
The 44-year-old hasn't received an offer from a Major League team with spring training less than a month away.
He wants to continue playing and if there isn't a place for him here, he may finish his career where it all began in Japan.
"I don't really like to think about that," agent John Boggs said. "As every day goes by, I keep holding out hope that somebody will realize that he would be a tremendous asset for any organization."
