Yankees Consider Using Aaron Judge In Leadoff Spot

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Mar 7, 2018 12:01 pm

The New York Yankees haven't ruled out anything regarding their batting order and that includes batting Aaron Judge first.

"I wouldn't necessarily say it's likely, but something like that I would consider," Aaron Boone said. "I've thought about it."

Judge led the American League in home runs (52) and strikeouts (208) last season while walking 127 times with a .422 on-base percentage.

"You can shuffle this lineup up and put 'em anywhere and it's going be a good lineup," Judge said. "For me, I don't really care who's in front of me or behind me. Last year I was lucky enough for the majority of the year to have [Brett Gardner] hitting in front of me, and he was on base a lot. So that was always nice."
