The Washington Nationals are leaving no stone unturned this spring as they practiced walk-off celebrations in camp on Saturday.
"It's going to happen," first-year manager Dave Martinez told the players. "One of you guys are going to hit a walk-off home run."
The Nationals' position players began Saturday with baserunning drills and then moved to batting practice, during which each player had a chance to practice one game-winning trip around the bases.
The Nationals hit three game-winning home runs in 2017, winning a total of nine games in walk-off fashion.
"I tell them, just like everything else, we work really hard, I also want them to have fun," Martinez said.
