The New York Yankees will use Gleyber Torres in a "50-50" split between second base and shortstop at the Triple-A level this season.
Torres has primarily been a shortstop over his four professional seasons, but spent some time at second and third in 2017.
The Yankees are expected to promote Torres at some point in 2018. He could be set for second base at the Major League level with Didi Gregorius entrenched at shortstop.
