The Houston Astros will extend the contract of manager A.J. Hinch.
An official announcement is expected sometime Thursday.
Jeff Luhnow said earlier this summer that his hope was to \"have [Hinch] here as my manager for as long as I\'m here.\"
Luhnow received an extension this year that runs through the 2023 season.
