Chris Davis is hitless in his first 53 at-bats this season, but the Baltimore Orioles\' first baseman is trying to remain patient.
Davis is in the fourth season of a seven-year, $161 million contract. He hasn\'t recorded a hit since Sept. 14, 2018.
\"I feel like I\'m seeing the ball a lot better,\" he said. \"I mean, I lined out again and drew a walk a little bit later. Just continue to work.
\"For me I can\'t focus on the result as much as I want to. As much as I want to see some type of return for all the work I\'m putting in. I gotta stay focused on the process.\"
His hitless streak is a Major League record.
