Joey Gallo hit the 100th home run of his Major League career on Wednesday, making the record books in the process.
Gallo has only recorded 93 singles. He\'s the first player ever to hit the 100-homer mark before 100 singles.
He\'s also the fastest player to 100 homers in American League history (377 games).
\"Yeah, that\'s pretty crazy,\" Gallo said. \"Like, if you would have told me that I would do that three years ago, I would think you were crazy. Pretty cool accomplishment, honestly. Be in the history books forever, so that\'s pretty special.\"
