The Washington Nationals held a 2-1 lead entering the sixth inning on Sunday night, when the Los Angeles Dodgers erupted to take Game 3 of the NLDS.
The Dodgers won 10-4 and took a 2-1 series lead.
Juan Soto hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the first and Max Muncy continued his hot hitting with a solo jack in the fifth before the Dodgers broke things open in the sixth.
Russell Martin got the scoring started with a two-run double. Enrique Hernandez followed that up with a two-run double of his own and Justin Turner capped it off with a three-run home run to left center.
Los Angeles did a majority of the damage against Patrick Corbin, who surrendered six runs and recorded just two outs. He relieved Anibal Sanchez, who struck out nine over five innings and allowed just one run on four hits.
The Nationals answered the Dodgers\' big inning with two runs, but never got closer.
Washington will look to remain alive on Monday with Max Scherzer on the hill opposite Rich Hill.
