Brian McCann announced his retirement after the Atlanta Braves\' Game 5 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old is a veteran of 15 Major League seasons.
\"This is it for me,\" McCann said. \"I\'m going to go home and be a dad and play with those kids.\"
McCann is a seven-time All-Star and won the 2017 World Series with the Houston Astros.
