Major League Baseball and the MLB Players Association are discussing changes to the drug agreement.

The new policy would include opioid testing, but would remove testing Minor League players for marijuana, according to a report.

Players on the 40-man roster are not tested for marijuana, but non-40-man roster minor leaguers are. There were 13 suspensions handed out in 2019.

That's a good start. Now stop testing all players. It's as dumb as testing people for alcohol and that's far worse than weed. Weed can be medical and doesn't create an advantage like most PEDs do. No reason to ban people over it.
