Arte Moreno says he nixed the proposed trade that would have seen the Los Angeles Angels acquire Joc Pederson and Ross Stripling from the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Moreno added that the Angels could still make an even bigger trade if given the chance this season.
The trade was called off while a blockbuster between the Dodgers and Boston Red Sox was delayed for several days.
\"It wasn\'t all impatience,\" Moreno said. \"There were other things involved, too. ... I just would rather not talk about it. That wasn\'t going to happen, and it\'s not happening.\"
