Yasiel Puig acknowledged in an interview that the Miami Marlins were one of several teams to make him an offer as a free agent.
Puig rejected Miami\'s offers, in part because he\'s seeking a larger contract.
The outfielder didn\'t reveal what other clubs offered him a deal, but did say he doubts there will be a Major League season in 2020.
\"We hope to play in 2021. I don\'t think there will be baseball in 2020, but if there is, we will be in some team,\" Puig said. \"I have to stay positive. If the coronavirus has not made me negative, nothing will make me negative.\"
