The Detroit Tigers have agreed to terms with No. 1 overall pick Spencer Torkelson.
The signing bonus in the deal is a record $8.4 million, according to a report.
Adley Rutchsman of the Baltimore Orioles set the previous record ($8.1 million) last year.
