The Atlanta Braves have agreed to a contract with Yasiel Puig, a source has confirmed.
The deal comes after Nick Markakis opted out of the season earlier this month.
Puig, 29, batted .267 in 149 games last season with the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Indians.
