The Los Angeles Angels have interest in a trade with the Chicago Cubs for Willson Contreras, according to a report.
The Angels are currently set to begin the 2021 season with Max Stassi as their primary catcher.
Joe Maddon has been a strong advocate for Contreras, who he managed during his time with the Cubs.
Contreras isn\'t eligible for free agency until after the 2022 season.
