Gabe Kapler: Check-Swing Call \'Disappointing\' Ending

The San Francisco Giants were eliminated in Game 5 of the NLDS on Thursday night in a game that ended with a controversial game.

Wilmer Flores tried to check his swing, but the first base umpire called him out to end the game and the series.

\"It looked like he didn\'t go. I mean, that was my take on it,\" Gabe Kapler said.

\"I just think it\'s just a disappointing way to end,\" he said.

A great game all the way that ended with a terrible call by the umpire. The pitch in question was a ball, he held up, even the commentator said so. Everyone new it. This ump should be fired for a call in a game as important as this was. Next pitch “could” have been an actual strike three or…………a home run. A terrible way to end a great game. And I’m a Yankees fan.
