The Toronto Blue Jays pursued Corey Seager prior to his 10-year, $325 million deal with the Texas Rangers, according to a report.
The Blue Jays were known to be attempting to re-sign Marcus Semien, who ultimately also joined the Rangers. Toronto wasn\'t comfortable matching the terms Seager received from Texas.
