Jim Corsi, who pitched for the World Series champion Oakland Athletics in 1989, died on Tuesday at the age of 60 following battles with liver and colon cancer.
Corsi also pitched for his hometown Boston Red Sox from 1997-99.
He pitched for five teams during a 10-year career, notching a 3.25 ERA in 368 games.
