Adam Eaton Considering Retirement, Coaching Position With Angels

Adam Eaton is considering retirement in part because the Los Angeles Angels discussed a possible coaching position with him before the lockout.
Under terms of the Major League Baseball lockout, Eaton cannot discuss employment with the Angels.
Eaton signed a one-year, $7 million deal with the Chicago White Sox a year ago. He was designated for assignment in July and then picked up by the Angels for the league minimum before being released about a month later.
