The Yomiuri Giants of Japan\'s Nippon Professional Baseball have signed Matt Shoemaker.

Shoemaker has pitched in the Major Leagues in each of the last nine seasons.

The 35-year-old had a 8.06 ERA over 60.1 innings with the Minnesota Twins in 2021.
