Nationals To Retire Ryan Zimmerman\'s No. 11

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Mar 22, 2022 12:37 pm

The Washington Nationals will honor Ryan Zimmerman by retiring his No. 11 on June 18.

They will also celebrate Zimmerman with a themed giveway for its doubleheader with the Philadelphia Phillies on June 17, as part of what it\'s calling Ryan Zimmerman Weekend at Nationals Park.

\"No other player in Washington Nationals history will wear No. 11,\" the team tweeted, alongside a graphic of Zimmerman’s name and number. \"It belongs to Mr. National, Ryan Zimmerman.\"

I’m sorry, but what has this man done in order to deserve his number retired?
