Mets GM Billy Eppler Backs Manager Buck Showalter

The New York Mets may be a season-worst eight games under .500 entering Tuesday\'s game against the Milwaukee Brewers, but general manager Billy Eppler is not rushing to make any big moves ahead of the deadline.
\"We\'ve got a decent amount of runway before the deadline,\" Eppler said Tuesday. \"We hope that we can change the story. If we can, then we can add. If it doesn\'t, then we\'ll just have to create other opportunities and see what else exists out there.\"
