A\'s To Call Up Top Prospects Tyler Soderstrom, Zack Gelof

The Oakland Athletics are calling up top prospects Tyler Soderstrom and Zack Gelof, according to a source.
Both are expected to join the club ahead of Friday\'s series opener against the Minnesota Twins at the Coliseum.
Soderstrom, 21, has an .839 OPS in 69 games for Triple-A Las Vegas. The catcher/first baseman participated in the All-Star Futures Game at T-Mobile Park in Seattle last week.
Gelof, 23, is batting .304 with a team-leading .930 OPS at Las Vegas. The infielder was drafted by the A\'s in the second round of the 2021 MLB Draft.
