Mariners To Promote Emerson Hancock

The Seattle Mariners are promoting pitching prospect Emerson Hancock, according to a report.
Hancock, who was the 6th overall pick in 2020, is not yet on the 40-man roster.
The 24-year-old has tossed 98 innings in Double-A this season, working to a 4.32 ERA with a career-best 26% strikeout rate, a 9.2% walk rate and a 42% ground-ball rate.
