The Cincinnati Reds are promoting Jeff Graupe from vice president of player acquisition/strategy to assistant general manager, according to a report.
Sam Grossman also holds the assistant GM title with the Reds.
Graupe receives the promotion a few weeks after Brad Meador was named general manager, a move that solidified Meador as second-in-command in the front office behind president of baseball operations Nick Krall.
