Braves Acquire Aaron Bummer, Send Five To White Sox

The Atlanta Braves have acquired Aaron Bummer from the Chicago White Sox in exchange for a five-player package.
Bummer, a left-handed reliever, had a 6.79 ERA that was nearly double his FIP in 2023.
The Braves sent right-hander Michael Soroka, left-hander Jared Shuster, shortstop Braden Shewmake, infielder Nicky Lopez and right-hander Riley Gowens to the White Sox.
