Shohei Ohtani, Dodgers Agree To 10-Year, $700M Deal

Shohei Ohtani has announced on Instagram he will sign with the Los Angeles Dodgers on a 10-year, $700 million deal.

I don't know if signing Shohei will change much in the playoffs for the Dodgers but I must say I am surprised the Dodgers landed him and glad I can see him play some games in Dodger Blue.

Besides Freeman, Friedman hasn't spent big money on a free agent especially someone that also can pitch.

Seems rather unfair to have $680m of 700m deferred a decade into the future to skirt the rules now.
