Shin-Soo Choo has announced that he will retire after the 2024 Korea Baseball Organization season.
Choo, 41, has played with the SSG Landers for the last three seasons.
He is essentially playing for free in 2024, as he re-signed with the Landers for a minimum salary and will donate the sum to charity.
Choo hit .275/.377/.447 over 7,157 plate appearances and 1,652 games in the Major Leagues from 2005-20.
